I will also read some of Eve Sedgwick’s work from this. I would be interested to read some other early writers on queer theory with relation to representation, and specifically any literature that considers female bisexual/lesbian representation as opposed to male representation or heterosexual female representation. I will do my own research on this but would also appreciate any recommendations please! Thanks!
At Uni I did a dissertation on something I labelled the lesbian gaze. How does a lesbian gaze at women in contrast to men, do they share the male gaze? Being a feminist and also lesbian it’s important to not objectify women whilst also finding them attractive.
